Physicianship and Professionalism
The University of Miami Miller School of Medicine takes great pride in instilling professionalism in all members of the institution.
Unprofessional or inappropriate behavior displayed by students, residents, faculty or staff may be reported using a 24 hour hotline: (305) 689-2222 or 2-2222 if calling from a campus phone.
It may also be reported by submitting a physicianship incident report using the forms linked here.
Specific incidents of mistreatment by faculty, staff and residents should be reported through the ‘CaneWatch system. ‘CaneWatch is a comprehensive and confidential reporting tool to document mistreatment and other forms of misconduct.
‘CaneWatch does not generate or maintain any internal connection logs with IP addresses, so no information linking your PC to ‘Cane Watch is available. “CaneWatch is contractually committed not to pursue a reporter’s identity.
